How CDVI Key Fob Duplication Works

1. Duplicating your CDVI fob is simple.

2. Locate the 14-character hexadecimal serial number and the "TAG-EV2" marking on the back of your CDVI key fob.

3. Send us a clear photo of the back of your fob.

4. We program a compatible fob using the same credential data.

5. Once completed, your new fob will function the same as your original access key.

CDVI is a global access control manufacturer whose fobs are widely used across North American residential and commercial properties. The CDVI TAG-EV2 is their high-security MIFARE DESFire EV2 variant.

We support duplicating ALL CDVI fobs and cards using the serial number engraved or printed on the back of your key fob or card.

On the back of your CDVI TAG-EV2 fob, you’ll see a 14-character alphanumeric serial number (e.g., 048B73C27C1890).
