Our competitors may have trouble duplicating tags with "M+" marks on them. We support duplicating all Dormakaba variants. Please provide a picture of the back of your fob with the marking so we can send you the correct blank fobs and equipment.
Use a NXP PN532 reader to clone it yourself:
We are the only condo key fob duplication business that can send you a reader so you can clone the tags yourself. You will need a computer. The duplication instructions can be found here:
PN532 Cloner Duplication Instructions
Most tags have an expiration date (usually at lease end). If you renew the lease, the management office will reprogram your original tag, and the cloned tag will stop working. If that happens, the cloned tags are not covered under warranty. You can reclone them yourself with the PN532 (since you purchased the cloner). But an extra fee may apply for fobs that are custom-programmed by the Mr. Key Fob team.

Need an extra Dormakaba or Saflok key fob for your condo, apartment, or office building? Our service allows you to duplicate many types of Dormakaba RFID access credentials used in building entry systems.
Dormakaba fobs are widely used in modern RFID access control systems for doors, elevators, and parking areas. Many of these credentials operate using 13.56 MHz high‑frequency RFID technology such as MIFARE Classic, MIFARE Plus, or DESFire chips.
Different Dormakaba fob models use different chip types and memory sizes. Common variants include:
MIFARE Classic 1K
MIFARE Classic 4K
MIFARE Plus 2K
MIFARE Plus 4K
Dual‑chip fobs (MIFARE + 125 kHz Prox)
Because these credentials vary in technology and security level, we require a clear photo of the front and back of your key fob so we can identify the correct chip type before duplication.
Dormakaba key fobs are commonly used in:
Condo and apartment buildings
Student housing
Hotels and hospitality systems
Office buildings
Secured residential communities
These compact RFID credentials attach easily to a keychain and provide convenient contactless entry to secure facilities.
FAQ
What is a Dormakaba key fob?
A Dormakaba key fob is an RFID credential used in access control systems to unlock doors, gates, or elevators in residential and commercial buildings.
What technology do Dormakaba fobs use?
Many Dormakaba credentials use 13.56 MHz RFID technologies such as MIFARE Classic, MIFARE Plus, or DESFire chips.
Why do you need a photo of my fob?
Dormakaba produces many different variants with different chip technologies and memory sizes. A photo helps identify the exact model so the correct duplicate can be created.
Will the cloned fob always work forever?
Some buildings periodically update or reprogram credentials. If the building management updates the original credential, the cloned fob may need to be re‑cloned to match the new data.
