9691T is a dual-chip tag. This means there are two RFID chips built in. [NEW] If you buy the 2 readers from us, you will get a single dual-chip fob (both low-frequency to access the common area doors and MIFARE Classic chip to access the suite door).  We will send you a low-frequency duplicator and a PN532 reader to clone your original into one fob.

The handheld reader is very straightforward to use. Place the original fob on the area labelled 'Place Fob Here', click 'Read' (wait for success), then write onto the blank fob we sent along with it.

Why the Schlage 9691 Fob Is Hard to Copy

Unlike simple RFID tags, the 9691T contains two separate RFID chips. Many kiosks and basic duplication services cannot copy both chips correctly, which means the new fob may only work on some doors.

Our cloning process ensures that both the proximity chip and the smart chip are properly duplicated, allowing your new fob to function the same as the original.
