Copy or Duplicate Your Nedap uPASS UHF Windshield Tag
Need an extra Nedap uPASS UHF windshield tag for your parking garage or gated community? Our service allows you to create a compatible replacement tag for vehicle access systems that use long-range UHF RFID technology.
The Nedap uPASS windshield tag is a passive RFID vehicle credential designed to be attached to the inside of a car’s windshield. It enables automatic identification of vehicles when approaching an access control reader at gates, parking garages, or secured facilities.
Unlike standard key fobs, these tags operate using UHF RFID technology (around 900 MHz), which allows readers to detect the vehicle from a distance. Depending on the reader used, tags can typically be read from up to about 10–15 meters (33–50 ft) away.
Because the tag is passive and battery-free, it requires no maintenance and is powered by the RFID reader when scanned.
These vehicle identification tags are commonly used for:
Parking garage access
Gated communities
Condo and apartment vehicle entry
Office parking facilities
Campus vehicle access systems
The tag is installed on the inside of the windshield and communicates automatically with compatible Nedap uPASS readers, allowing drivers to enter secured areas without stopping or presenting a credential manually.
