The TagMaster windshield tag is designed to be mounted on the inside of a vehicle’s windshield and automatically identifies the vehicle when it approaches a compatible reader. These tags are commonly used in parking access systems, gated residential communities, and commercial parking facilities.

TagMaster windshield tags typically operate using UHF RFID frequencies between about 860–960 MHz and can be detected from a distance of up to about 9 meters (30 feet) depending on the reader and installation.

These tags are passive and battery‑free, meaning they are powered by the RFID reader when scanned and require no maintenance.

The tag is usually attached permanently to the inside of the windshield using adhesive and may include a printed serial number or barcode for identification.
